La bandera suïssa apareix alhora com un emblema perdurable i com una relíquia arqueològica modelada per l’abrasió, la textura i la silenciosa acumulació dels anys. Més que una imatge fixa, l’obra convida a reflexionar sobre com els símbols es transformen amb el temps. La Història Darrere de Rumantsch
Al llarg del costat dret de la composició emergeixen quatre línies gravades gairebé imperceptibles. Les seves proporcions corresponen a les quatre llengües nacionals de Suïssa: alemany, francès, italià i romanx.
La més petita d’aquestes línies —gairebé invisible a primera vista— representa el Rumantsch, una de les llengües vives més antigues d’Europa i la inspiració conceptual d’aquesta obra. Tot i ser parlada per una minoria, simbolitza la resistència de la memòria cultural i la persistència silenciosa de la identitat.
Més que una declaració política, RUMANTSCH és una reflexió sobre la convivència, l’equilibri, la fragilitat cultural i la permanència discreta.
