Durant segles, Suïssa ha estat un símbol d’estabilitat, independència i neutralitat. Situada al cor d’Europa però mantenint el seu propi camí, la nació ha cultivat un equilibri únic entre obertura i sobirania, diversitat i unitat, tradició i progrés.
Erosió de la Neutralitat explora les tensions subtils que emergeixen dins d’aquest equilibri. La icònica creu suïssa, tradicionalment associada a la cohesió, la protecció i la identitat nacional, apareix parcialment amagada sota capes de textura, matèria i temps. No ha desaparegut; sobreviu com una empremta, una presència que convida a una observació més profunda.
L’obra reflexiona sobre la paradoxa contemporània d’un país històricament definit per les seves fronteres mentre participa cada vegada més en espais de lliure circulació on els límits físics esdevenen menys visibles. A mesura que la integració econòmica, els mercats globals, els acords internacionals i les pressions geopolítiques continuen transformant el món modern, conceptes tradicionalment sòlids com la neutralitat deixen de ser certeses immutables per convertir-se en idees en evolució.
La superfície blanca texturada evoca capes d’història, memòria col·lectiva i continuïtat cultural. El vermell intens continua essent inequívocament suís, però el seu diàleg amb la creu fragmentada planteja una pregunta atemporal: com pot una nació preservar la seva identitat mentre s’adapta a un món cada vegada més interconnectat?
