A minimalist composition where white, rust and texture meet in a quiet dialogue between material and place.

In BCN, an expansive white surface is interrupted by a horizontal band of warm rust and earthy tones. Embedded threads travel across this central area, creating fine irregular lines, relief and movement that contrast with the calm openness of the surrounding white.

Black traces and distressed edges remain deliberately visible, giving the painting the character of a surface altered by time. The combination of white, oxidized colors and raw textures creates a balance between minimalism and imperfection — between silence and materiality.

The work continues beyond the front of the canvas. On the side, the letters BCN appear in three-dimensional relief, introducing a discreet reference to Barcelona. Rather than becoming the main subject, they act almost like a hidden signature of place, something discovered as the artwork is viewed from different angles.
